From the bluegrass fields of Lexington, Kentucky to the high-stakes world of military special operations, Daniel Roberts’ journey is a testament to the power of service, determination, and giving back.

After earning his business degree from the University of Kentucky, Daniel’s path took an unexpected turn. Inspired by a family member serving in the elite Special Forces, he felt the call to push his limits and serve his country in a unique capacity. This led him to pursue one of the most challenging roles in the U.S. military: becoming an Air Force Combat Controller (CCT).

Daniel’s resolve was tested through the notoriously difficult CCT training pipeline. His perseverance paid off as he earned his coveted scarlet beret, joining an elite cadre of airmen who serve as the critical link between air and ground forces in the most challenging combat situations.

Two overseas rotations followed, where Daniel’s skills were put to the ultimate test. Upon returning stateside, he transitioned to the role of military training instructor, shaping the next generation of airmen and instilling in them the values and skills that had been instilled in him.

Now, Daniel faces a new challenge: pursuing his MBA while running the VC Veterans Contracting Raleigh franchise. This venture allows him to blend his military experience with his business acumen, serving fellow veterans in a unique way.

After years of being surrounded by some of the nation’s finest in the military, Daniel felt a profound calling to give back to the community that had shaped him. VC Veterans Contracting has become more than just a business for Daniel; it’s a mission. The company serves as a vital platform for veterans like himself who are leaving the service and searching for their next higher calling.

Through this innovative approach to veteran employment and empowerment, Daniel continues to embody the spirit of service that defined his military career, now translated into the realm of entrepreneurship and community development.

Casey brings a wealth of experience to his role as Head of Operations at Veterans Contracting. Originally from Altoona, Wisconsin, Casey joined the Air Force after high school, where he excelled as a Special Reconnaissance Operator during his six years of Active Duty service. Prior to his first deployment, Casey graduated with top honors from the US Army Sniper Course. While serving in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom, he earned an Air Force Achievement Medal with a Combat Device, demonstrating his exceptional skills and commitment. After transitioning from military service, Casey embarked on an entrepreneurial journey. He founded his own carpentry business and transitioned into luxury home remodeling while pursuing his General Contractor licensing. His meticulous attention to detail and strong leadership abilities proved instrumental in his business success and team management. At Veterans Contracting, Casey applies his diverse skill set to oversee operations, emphasizing client communication, construction knowledge and project precision. He is passionate about Veteran mental health, contributing to the community and delivering exceptional results on every project. Casey now resides in Garner, NC with his wife and two dogs, continuing his dedication of service to the Raleigh community.
